So often we just need to know there’s a loving hand nearby. A hand to comfort us.

Each stitch is a decision and an assuaging presence, the proof of a time of commitment with the future wearer. My work is always a conversation between contemporary and devotional and traditional jewelry: Scapulars, ex votos, relics, jewels that have been done and used as a proof of the power of objects. These pieces have the weight of touching and grasping and holding and comforting. They are worn like a scapular, like a pendant and inspire the wearer to intertwine their fingers or feel the warm touch on the chest or between the shoulder blades, a silent presence. They say you are not alone.
